Not an old book but ,THE GREAT GAME,by HAROLD WYMAN is a classic to me.

A poachers tale by Fred J Speakman about the life of Alfred T Curtis is a good read about the old days.I enjoy the books wrote by the big game hunters of a 100 year ago.
