took the 6month pup for a walk tonight noticed she was limping, got back and her nail is split and ragged although not bleeding, im not sure how long its been like it. ive washed it in warm water and teatree oil. ive read you need to cut it back but how far? why is she limping has an infection got in? and how lomg will it take to heal?
i had been invited out this weekend on the lamp for the first time so not happy :( .any advice or quick fixes :thumbs-up: would be apreciated. awen

if its limping already it may have broken the seal around the nail so if you want a speedy fix your better off going to the vets

put muzzle on it and cut it right down or you will have problems with the nail,
it will squeal though and will have blood but will dry up put iodine spray on,
or is it lack of calcium causes brittle nails
