I have a 6 month Whippet Pup, Shes coming on very well, But has a bad habit of jumping up on me and others as soon as anyone goes near her or when I go outside,
I know its just excitement, But its a very bad habit I cant get her out of. I began stepping backwards and ignoring her until she sat down and it works, But she still jumps a few times first, realises I wont give her any attnetion until she sits, and then after jumping another few times, she sits and stares up at me waiting for attention,
If I make a fuss then she will sit the entire time, But as soon as I move, she starts jumping again, then I ignore her, she sits and it starts all over again, Its completely my fault that I have got her into this but I cant break it.
