I have a 6 month Whippet Pup, Shes coming on very well, But has a bad habit of jumping up on me and others as soon as anyone goes near her or when I go outside,

I know its just excitement, But its a very bad habit I cant get her out of. I began stepping backwards and ignoring her until she sat down and it works, But she still jumps a few times first, realises I wont give her any attnetion until she sits, and then after jumping another few times, she sits and stares up at me waiting for attention,

If I make a fuss then she will sit the entire time, But as soon as I move, she starts jumping again, then I ignore her, she sits and it starts all over again, Its completely my fault that I have got her into this but I cant break it.

every time she jumps us,stand on one of its back feet,i dont mean slam your foot down on it,just apply gentle pressure with your foot,if your worried just do it in your socks,it will learn very quickly atb
