Comes and goes with no treatment, but go with what the vet said as cant hurt. Also a common one is half way down the tail, see it again here.

One of my terriers had to have an operation, and they tried to say my dog had ringworm when all it was, was a reaction to the crap food someone had recommended to me.

I didn't use the stuff she gave me, just stopped feeding them the shitty food and it all cleared up, so could it be something in the dogs diet?

What do you feed the dog?

i feed my terrier and lurcher on the average joe working greyhound complete biscuits and a tin of pedigree chum shared between them, they've been on these biscuits for nearly two years but the problem has only just occured,if treatment off vets doesnt work i will try some different food and see how they get on.

It will probably be the sweat gland if its inbetween the ears (like the pic of the staffy) they do also get them in the middle of the tail, its nothiung to worry about, but i do know of someone with a terrier who had this and the vet charged a fortune running different swabs on her  Its mostly found in bull terriers and staffords, make sure that you let the vet know you are aware of sweat glands
