lurcher gone off food whats the cause

my lurcher has gone off his food for the last 2 days he only picks a little bit and leaves the rest which he never done he always scofs it all up , wud it be because he got a very hard nites lamping just before that or wud it be somtin else he is in good form even do his gone off his food

i only ever give mine a light meal after a hard night mate ,then the remainder next morning,would not want to run a marathon myself then sit down to a roast dinner if you know what i mean, it may or may not make a blind bit of difference but i do it all the same

I think Thompsons Dog means that he's off his food because a local bitch is in heat. My old man's old lurcher wouldn't eat for days if there was a bitch in season. He would cry a lot as well though. A right pain in the arse. ATB
