feed beasts tripe raw mate, the dogs love it, it is good for putting a bit of weight on them after hard work, or in cold weather, feed them it once or twice a week, and sheep tripe is not much good i wouldnt feed that to my dogs, white tripe you get from the butchers for humans is no good at all,

I have been feeding it everyday for about 3 months, my lurcher needed to put a bit of weight on and he has defo put some on, he doesn't poo as much and when he does it easy to clear up (without going into too much detail ;) )
I mix in raw veg every couple of days an egg once a week and mackeral fillets (the tinned stuff) about once a week, he also gets a meaty bone every couple of days and has a few chicken wings in the morning.

I bought a whippet puppy home yesterday, she came with some cheap Asda puppy food, her poo was runny and orange, 1 full day of feeding her tripe and her poo is solid, says alot in my eyes!

Feed raw, no need to cook :good:

Our kennel dogs lived on it 18 pointers, 2 terriers, spaniels and a lurcher. No probs with any of them. Not for feeding to a house dog though.....unless you like smelly farts!

all green raw tripe is spot on. But as you said mixed and varied diet is better. Raw veg meaty bones chicken wings chicken carcasses etc. Dog will thrive of this diet. Raw fish twice a week.

Raw green tripe great for dogs but do'nt over do it,vary diet, seen a litter of pups get ruined by feeding solely on tripe.
