:clapper: Raw Green Tripe is a fabulous 'filler' for canines,.but,.it is mostly water

Why not give the tripe just a few times a week, and compliment it with chicken carcases, lamb necks, fish...etc..

Try and locate a local butcher who will give you the weekly wastage,... it will be cheaper, and better ;)

All the best to you,.CHALKWARREN... :drink:

I'm probably in the minority ,but I dont have a high regard for tripe ,its lacking in protein and other goodness ,holds a lot of water, dogs can lose their backs if fed mainly on it.I feed rabbit, giblets and beef mince supplemented with a couple of tins of pilchards and a few eggs a week . I top this off with breast of lamb, other bones and yeast tabs and cod liver oil caps.
