  • No Use of Txt Talk, this being abbreviated words commonly used in mobile phone messages, in the form of U, [BANNED TEXT], UR, L8R, etc. There is no limit on post length on the forum, so theres no need to use shortened messages that are unreadable to some members. These will be removed as seen and the members warning level increased accordingly...Its just plain lazy.
  • Please try to keep posts constructive. Healthy debate is good, petty arguements are not, they do not show us in a good light as a community or for hunting in general.

  • As a final note, we are all on the forum for one reason, our passion for hunting and the fieldsports it consists of, we must preserve what we have now for future generations to come, at a time when we are under constant pressure from government, anti's and general public threatening our way of life...we must always remember together we stand divided we fall.....

Greetings all,
I've been a sleeper here for a while soaking up the wisdom of you all. Ealier this year I thought it was time to teach my boys about airguns and have been fully bitten by the shooting bug. So now I'm putting in place the building blocks for my first FAC application and I'm hoping someone can help me out. I have arranged a permission with plenty of bunnies near Oakington, and I already have a Black Powder licence for amateur rocketry. My Firearms Enquiry Officer wants me to go shooting with someone to show me the ropes. Is there someone out there who could give me a practical lesson, I'm willing to travel if you don't fancy coming to me?
Thanks all,
Halam

Hi not far from you at all Just south of Huntingdon.
Have used a mates rimfire but on the land I have locally there are just too many public footpaths roads etc so do all my bunnies with my air rifle, occasional shotgunning and ferreting. Have some land near you that my ferreting partner and I frequent, if you fancy a trip out with ferrets? I will have OK it with him obviously.
