I bought 4 warrens a few days ago and the man said they were layers and im yet to have a egg are they only settling in naw or should they be laying. Thanks

depends on age they will start laying about 20 weeks ish old then an egg a day mate

All hens are different, ive got 2 hens here at 26 weeks and they only strated laying 2 days back.

Warrens are good utility birds and will keep you stocked up with fresh eggs.

i have a cockeral in with them and they seem awfull broody will the eggs be alrite to still eat

is there any thing to condition them and get them in better shape my cockeral seems bald on his back what could that be

when i went over the morning to leave them out there was a smashed egg in there what could that be

It's possible the Cockerel you have with them is Treading the Hens while they are trying to Lay.

Where did you get the Hens from?.

Hens start to slow down on the laying this time of year mate,mine have gone from laying 8-9 a day out of my 10 adult birds to between 1-4 a day now.
