hi im looking to buy a pair of boots,trying to find a stockist who sells the new army issue cold weather goretex boot{lowa type}
been scouring the net all night and havnt found anyone who sells them,i bought a used pair of ebay recently{bad mistake} the leather along instep+on outside of boot where ist bonded is split on both boots and leak in,once bitten twice shy,so i need a brand new pair.
any help will be greatly appreciated

I think you can buy new ones on ebay mate,but make sure they are the genuine ones .do a google search for lowa mountain boot might bring up a stockist .great boots ive got a pair ive had for 10 yrs they are cracking a bit now but i wont part with them they are like slippers.......comfy :D

looking at these two model boots Meindl Army Gore military boot or LOWA COMBAT GTX BOOTS ,which boots would people recomend from the 2 ive narrowed it down too,i realise one is a higher boot than other,i need a pair that are going to last hard seasons digging+obviously which are able to be resoled if need be,at the moment im swaying towards the meindls,+need advice on sizing,im a 7 in trainers,so would a 7 1/2 be the right size for a extra pair of socks? or is a 8 a better option? dont want a boot to be a bit slack and cause blisters ect,the boots im using at the moment are an eight,a little room at toes,but realise different boots from different manufacturers can have difference in sizes
any advice would be great
