fruit what are they

Iwent down to wells on sea last week,these berries were growing right down to the high water mark,the leaves were citrus like [waxy, oily,]and the fruit had a nice lemony tang,any idea as to what they are.

They look like Sea-buckthorn to me Micky.

Saw Ray Mears(sp) picking them on one of his programmes, looked a bit of a bugger to pick and very bitter.

Its 100% seabuckthorn. I have a few pots of it growing here......
