Cockeral eye closed ???

my cockeral has one of his eyes 75% closed. can i wash it out? what with?

Personally I would use a tea bag (luke warm) . I allways bathe my racing pigeons eyes with this if they have been pecked whilst in the crate etc. Obviously if the eye has discharge ,looks damaged or does not improve in a day or two you need a vet. Just my oppinion based on years of expieriance with pigeons. The tea bag treatment has helped me many,many times . All the best .

open his eye with your fingers spit in it saliva is a great heeler then put savlon cream into it 2 of my hens had a fight last week and 1 of them had both its eyes shut tight the next morning after treatment it was fine the next day good luck ;)
