I picked this book up second hand from Amazon for just under £2 and all I can say is that it is firs class.
David spent 15 years of his life studying foxes using radio trackers and night vision , he knows the ins and outs of the fox from every noise they make to the slightest bit of body language.
This book could teach anybody a ting or two highly recommended for any body with an interest in foxes
and as its a well written 220 page hardback book packed with full colour pictures at about £2 Its a bargain . atb John

;) It is a superb book and relevant for all those who like foxes. I have not read my copy for some time but did he not actually enlist a terrier guy to dig a vixen so he could radio tag her? Or something similar...If so, i think she was found to go back to the very same earth that she was dug from......Interesting to say the least!....JD

Yes that’s right JD, The first wild fox he saw was shot when he was beating on a shoot. Evan though he didn’t like it he still understood the need to control foxes. If only more of the naturalists or zoologists thought like that. ;) atb John
