best camcorder for lamping???

does anyone know of the best type of camcorder for lamping ?? using a sony mini dvd type not the best quality.

Sony handicam high8 format with night shot facility prob cheap as chips on ebay ;)

sony ones are the best dont matter if its night shot dont use it make sure its got steady shot tho check it befor eu buy it and zoom in see if theres any shake
