just checking red currants???

quite a lot of these about on my permission but just want to check they are red currants afore i go eating them! :D

Doesn't look like redcurrant to me, It looks more like this plant Viburnum opulus to me, Take a look at the picture with red berries, If so it is edible but mildly toxic.

Get some better pictures of the leaves.

Guelder rose I think. Poisonous but edible when cooked, don't taste very good.
