Chaps somewhere on this site a while back someone posted a video link of a different way of gutting rabbits. I want to show a mate but can't find it :realmad: They peeled skin from ribs to back legs. Tried it, worked well.
Please re-post :signthankspin:

i also cut the skin on the back and pull apart ( to head and back legs). quick, easy and we do not use the pelt.
the bigger the handfull of fur you get on the back the easier it is.

Thanks I now after hundreds and hundreds of rabbits have changed to the way the video showed. Seems so much cleaner as guts just fall out without a shake or by pulling them.

Does that method take everything out in one go, I usually leave the liver & kidneys

its just a way of opening the rabbits up, you still pull the guts out, so the liver and kidneys are left in place

Just gives a bigger opening, liver, kidneys and lites stay, rest justs drop out. Much cleaner way if you've shot the rabbit.
