found loads when is best time to pick, and how do you make slow gin/vodka, also loads of hazel nuts whats best to do with them ie preserve

Looks like it will be alot more productive thatn last year then,,I think the best time for sloe picking is in a month or two.

The best time to pick sloes is the day after the first frost. which is normally about the end of September and early October.
