whats doing it????

ive lost a few chickens recently, and i keep on finding them around the fields with just they're heads missing??? odd?? what could be doing this?

the same thing happenned to me an we caught a ferret next to the shed after that no more dissappeared some might disagree but personally i think its a ferret or summat similar

its a polecat mate, my ferrets got out of there run the other day and killed all my old english game :( thats exactly what they did

i would say a fox aswell as they are well known for pulling heads of there victims ive seen this first hand

Id say fox, a lot more likely to be about and they tend to do this when there is several to choose from.
