went to put stickers on the bottles and one had a bit of sedoment in the bottle so i gently turned it to stir it up by god did it stir up the screw top come of like a 12 bore going off i am now the owner of a dent in the hut roof and a flooded floor luckily the bottle was facing away from me or god only knows what it may have hit so this is a warning to all treat these bottles as if there explosives lol lol :gunsmilie: :drink: :D

Your lucky it didnt set off a chain reaction my mates kitchen was nearly blown apart by that stuff, volatile as nitro glycerine, his wife wasnt best pleased. Good drink though well worth the risks. :drinks:

I " redecorated " my garage with that stuff years ago. I had 38 bottles lined up along one wall. It smelled a bit weird for month.

lol, now this is the sort of story thats made me jib out of making it this year!!!!! I have heard of glass bombs too, now that would be scary!

Well numb nut that I was, I used wine bottles and tied the corks down. Now I know why champagne bottles are the way they are.
