i going to have a look at this http://www.usedcarsni.com/27795285 later this evening but having only passed my test less than a yr ago and knowing f**k all about cars, i could do with some advice. what questions to ask ? what to look out for ? Whats a reasonable offer to make should i fancy it. thanks.

Surfs suffer from the head gasket mate i would not have one a hilux yes i got a trooper 3.0ltr put a 2.8 td in it will run for years the 3.0ltr trooper are wank aswell suffer from injector problems.......atb danny

Think the 2.4s are not good sufffer from head problems i believe ,been told more than once not to touch one.

had 1 that had had the head done 7 months later went again then 3 months again stay away get a uk hilux four runner the same but the uk spec engine cheaper to insure as well

I have a 3 litre surf. Had it about 18 months. Awsome vehicle. Never lets me down, will go anyware a landy will go and totally reliable.
Get the 3 litre d, you wont regret it.
