The Heart of Wales Game & Country Fair
Penmaenau Farm,Llanelwedd,Builth Wells,LD2 3RD.
Caravan & Camping Available £20 only for weekend pitch, Free evening entertainment in Bar
(Not including game fair admission)
Adults £5.00 Children £2.50 under five free
Saturday 15th
Hound Parade, Hound Show, Rabbit Hunt, Horn Blowing Competition, Family Dog Show,Tug of War £200 prize money,Lurcher & Terrier show Final Qualifier for Sundays Championship, racing, simulated coursing, Hurdle racing, and obedience, Pedigree dog agility.
Sunday 16th
2009 Lurcher & Terrier Championship with 2010 qualifying show after
Lurcher Coursing 32 dog stake (entries taken from10.30 prompt), Racing fastest dog £100 prize money, Hurdle Racing, Obidience.Bedlington Terrier championship, Dog Scurry, Digging Competition £100 prize money, Ferret show & racing,
Both Days
Tattooist,Clay Pigeon Shooting, Air rifle Range, Dog Scurry, Chainsaw, sculptor, Main Ring Entertainment, Trade Stands, Vintage Tractors, Tractor ride, Bouncy Castles,Arcade, Face Painting, Punch & Judy.

Cant wait for this absolutely thought it was a great day out in may I think it had to be the best dog show id been to all year! Excellent place rain or shine me and pork chop definetely be there! And we be fetching some new people up with us! :thumbs:

this show is a qualifier for the Weston park , Southwest lurcher championship under 21" champion lurcher champion terrier "Pride of Peaks,Ragley hall,Welsh Valleys Champion of Champions .East Anglian Champion of Champions AMONGST OTHERS good luck to all the people who have qualified for sundays championship at heart of wales to if you have qualified anywhere or wona abest in show terrier or lurcher anywhere and have not recived qualifacation notification please pm me thanks. :clapper:

last year our lurcher won a lovely photo there. will they be there again this year. It was worth coming for the photo alone!! :clapper:

Thanks it is the friends that I have met over the three years that makes it worthwhile for me cant wait,we try to take on board all the advice given from real dog and show people,after all it is only them that can make a show a success
