Aslong as your terriers are stockbroken the chickens wil soon get used to them, although its better so choose a more steady breed rather than some of the flighty ones.......................

Before i moved house the hens were a good bit away so my terriers could not mix with them, but now i moved house the terriers and hens mix mostly without any problems but i am in the middle of building a fence so the terriers can have the front half of the garden and the hens can have the back.I can never trust my dogs 100% they have snacked on the odd one, i got 2 new hens a few months back and one will attack the terriers but i am wary that the terriers will get pissed off and rip its head off

My kelpies are fine with my bantams but a lakeland a few doors down went through a spate of escaping from his garden and mullering them. The only one which consistantly survived was the welsummer. Incidentally, all the holes in his and my garden are now firmly blocked so I've been terrier free for over a year...but my kelpies hate him and want to kill him every time they meet the scruffy little tyke!

Warrens - they are bombproof, got twenty or so myself. And they lay lots of nice sized eggs, mostly one a day each, but less when moulting etc.

They wont take any notice of your dogs once they get used to them, and if they're in a pen as well, Bobs your uncle and Fanny's your Aunt. Good luck and enjoy.

My terrier (not for hunting, just for pet) always runs around the coops, my chickens only look at him and sometimes they even walk towards him.
I would say that its no problem for an chicken to live with terriers around.
